Construction
With Mahogany back and sides, this ensures a deep and resonant sound, offering a beautifully warm low-end. The large slope shoulder dreadnought body shape delivers brilliant projection, loud even when unplugged. The top is made from Solid Sitka Spruce, this helps to bring out some airy top-end character, giving lush chords progressions or finger-picked arpeggios all of the beautiful clarity they'd need to cut through in a mix.
A Mahogany neck gives a substantial yet comfortable feel, with its rounded tonal properties merging well with the matching back and sides. Adorned with a Micarta fretboard, this sleek wood offers a smooth touch under the fingers, making fretting a joy. A bone nut and saddle keeps a traditional vibe; this acoustic guitar is built purely to pick and play!
Electronics
The most striking feature of this guitar is the uncovered P-90 pickup above the soundhole. While this isn't a common feature on acoustic guitar, legendary artists such as George Harrison, John Lennon, and Elvis Costello have all frequently used guitars with this set up. This pickup provides a bright yet vintage sound that really cuts through. You can also shape the sound with the electric-guitar-style volume and tone knobs that are mounted to the top.
